First comic

Name: Kusetsu Joe
Age: 22
Date of Birth: December 12th
Blood Type: B
Height: 6' (185cm)
Weight: 160 lbs (73kg)
First Appearance: 07/27/02 (#002)
History: Joe grew up in a small town as the older of two children in his very close family. He has always been a very easy going person and takes great joy in life's simple pleasures. He is a martial artist of rather advanced skill, but thinks of his training as something fun to do rather than an actual tool of combat. Although Joe's mother and father were both Japanese, his father was a fan of American baseball teams. (Joe is actually named after Joe Dimaggio.) Although Joe tends to act like an idiot, he actually has rather quick wits and is good at finding ways out of tough situations. After leaving home, Joe moved into an apartment with his closest childhood friend, a Scottish anarchist named Stu. Joe survived by doing various odd jobs before ending up in the san.

Author's Comments: When I think of Joe, I think of ideals of the classic robot anime. Joe is all about honor and righteousness. He's also the kind of person who is completely and utterly willing to risk life and limb to help out his friends. Basically, Joe is the stereotypical good guy. He seems to take great pride in this. Although Joe does have a serious side, it's not the natural thing for him. Joe is most at home when he's just taking off on a silly tangent and playing hero.

Joe is the kind of hero I always wanted to be when I was a kid.
