It is the near future. Technology has made amazing advancements in many areas. Oddly enough, the sudden surge in scientific advancement has been dominated by a single company. E.V.I.L. (Experimental Vehicular Information Laboratories) Corp. has been driving the cutting edge of technology. The astonishing speed of their progress, as well as a number of mysterious acquisitions, has led many to suspect that they are not operating entirely within the law.

E.V.I.L. Corp. has also attracted a large amount of attention by recently establishing its own private security branch. This organization, headed directly by the owner of E.V.I.L. Corp., is believed to have a higher offensive and defensive potential than the Japanese S.D.F. (Strategic Defense Forces).

Recently, a small group of people have become directly aware of the illegal experimentation being conducted by E.V.I.L. Corp. through a sanitarium. This group, led by Professor Nitrate have made it their quest to bring these activities to light and make E.V.I.L. Corp. pay for its crimes.

It now falls to an aging scientist, a nurse, a fun-loving mecha fan, a Scottish anarchist, and...um...Jim...To bring justice back to their city.
